The arena, known as Pittsburgh Civic Arena and "The Igloo", is the largest retractable stainless steel dome roof in the world, with 170,000 square feet of pure Pittsburgh steel. Inside, there are also two clubs, the Blue Line and the Igloo. It is also an easy walk from Downtown pubs and restaurants. Parking is impressively easy, although entering and leaving the arena usually leads to deadlock traffic.
