The 2010 New Orleans Hornets are back at New Orleans Arena. The New Orleans Arena is an indoor venue in New Orleans, Louisiana used for sports events, music concerts, trade shows and conventions. It has been home to the New Orleans Hornets of the NBA since '02. The $84 million arena which officially opened on October 19, 1999 seats 18,000 for basketball (17,200 for Hornets games and 16,500 for arena football) and can seat from 7,500 for a half-stage setup to 17,221 for end-stage shows and at the most 17,805 for a center-stage show. It has 56 luxury suites plus a super-suite, which seats 140 patrons. Sixteen executive suites have 18 theater-style seats; all others have 12 theater-style seats. Other amenities include a private concourse, refrigerators, wet bars, television sets with in-house TV and cable channels, access and membership to two club-level lounges, concierge service and preferred parking. Also, there are club seats via seat licenses, all located in the middle sections of the lower bowl. All have oversized, cushioned seats with cup holders and excellent access to each of the two club lounges.
